This part a performance work by Uji “Hahan” Handoko and Adi “Uma Gumma” Kusuma in collaboration with Black Hand Gang at Art Jakarta Scene, supported by ROH. Social Note is created based on observations and records of how humans obtain wealth in order to prosper.

Artist profile
Born in 1983 in Kebumen, Indonesia. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Art at the Indonesia Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta. He is a contemporary artist renowned for his unique fusion of Javanese mythology with popular culture elements such as street art and comics. His work seamlessly navigates the boundary between ‘high’ and ‘low’ art, often offering critiques of the global art market while exploring the tensions between tradition and modernity.
